The last lunar eclipse in Virgo has got me really fucked up y’all. It dragged old monsters back to the surface—ones I thought I had already laid to rest.

I’ve been working really hard to release patterns/coping mechanisms that keep my wound of neglect alive. One of the patterns I have witnessed in my life is attracting folks who love bomb me and disappear as fast as they’ve entered my life. Often those folks are emotionally unavailable/avoidant/fetishizers/exploitative consumers who just need a thrill. Funny enough, they often just come out of a serious relationship.

When we’re not direct threats, Black and/or trans people are distractions, something cute to look at/be seen with, or entertainment.

I’ve expressed here before that neglect is my biggest wound, and that neglect is also the passive side of abuse. While the active side is more outward—manifesting in physical or verbal violence—neglect is harder to detect because it’s passive. It’s also harder to point out because the effects aren’t always immediately visible.
