Welcome to Day 12.
Today is going to be a quite heavier day. I mean I said that water is always the deepest part of the journey. So buckle up, dear friend.
We are continuing on our iceberg journey and now looking at the next layer, the one under the Narrative layer, the story we tell ourselves. It is what I call the “needs beneath the story” layer.
So many times when I mediate conflict, I realise that when we get to speak from this layer, the conflict can come become generative in a matter of seconds.
Important note here: generative never means staying together until the end of times. What I mean by generative is that we get to know if and under what circumstances we can continue living and breathing in this relationship in a way that is sustainable to us.
